2016 Thanksgiving Fire Station Deliveries

For the 9th consecutive year, Mike, Nicole and the Alstott children continued the Foundation's tradition by saluting some of our local heroes today. All in all, 38 turkeys, 228 cans or corn, 228 cans of green beans, 152 packages of dinner rolls, 76 boxes of instant potatoes, 76 boxes of stuffing, 76 pies, 38 cans of whipped cream, and 76 jars of gravy were delivered to 30 fire stations at 28 stops earlier today. The quest to deliver the Thanksgiving meals to all St. Pete Fire Rescue Stations, Pinellas Park Fire Departments, Lealman Fire Departments, St. Pete Beach Fire Departments, The Treasure Island Fire Department, The South Pasadena Fire Department, The Gulfport Fire Department, the Madeira Beach Fire Department, and for the first time, Seminole Fire Departments took over 7 hours and covered nearly 150 miles. Once again, Thank You to ALL of our first responders this Thanksgiving Holiday. Thank you to our friends at the Treasure Island Publix and Bill Currie Ford that helped make today’s deliveries possible.
