Be sure that you (and any guests you are registering) have a valid passport that does not expire before January 23, 2026, and that you book your own roundtrip flights to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) with an arrival no later than 12:30pm CST on July 23 to make the scheduled transfer.
Terms & Conditions
- I acknowledge that I (and any other guests I am registering) have a valid passport that expires no later than January 23, 2026.
- I acknowledge that I must book my own roundtrip flights to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), landing no later than 12:30pm CST on July 23.
- I hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Burky's Believe Foundation, The Mike Alstott Family Foundation, and A Reel Future, including their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in or attendance at any activities, events, or programs associated with these organizations, including the charity fishing tournament, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- I understand and expressly acknowledge that participation in boating and fishing activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to changing weather and water conditions, waves and wakes, slippery surfaces, equipment failure, collisions with other vessels or objects, hooks and fishing gear injuries, marine wildlife encounters, sun exposure, dehydration, and the risk of serious personal injury, illness, permanent disability, or death, as well as property damage. I voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, and accept full responsibility for my participation.
- I further grant permission to the Released Parties to use my name, likeness, voice, image, photograph, video, and any other recordings taken during the event for promotional, marketing, educational, and charitable purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed, without compensation or further approval. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished materials and release the Released Parties from any claims related to the use of such media.
- I certify that I am physically capable of participating in this event, that I have read and fully understand this agreement, and that I voluntarily agree to its terms.
