MAFF Teams Up With Wounded Warrior Abilities Ranch

In celebration of Veteran's Day, former Buccaneer Mike Alstott and the Mike Alstott Family Foundation will team up with Mike Delancey and his Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch (WWAR) to host a friendly flag football game between Veterans.

On Friday, November 9, the two organizations will join forces to help promote the mission of the WWAR by providing a fun atmosphere for local Veterans to get active by teaming up against each other in the friendly game. Alstott will serve as the QB for both teams. After the game, the Veterans and their guests will be treated to lunch provided by WingHouse Bar & Grill and will have the opportunity to get photographs with and autographs from Alstott.

The Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch and Park is being built as a place for Veterans to get out and get active through various recreational activities in a safe and reflective environment. It was founded in 2013 by Wounded Warrior Mike Delancey, a Pinellas Park resident who himself was critically injured in a sniper attack during military combat in Iraq and has confronted his own life changing injuries.

The Mike Alstott Family Foundation was formed to allow the Alstott's to assist others in uplifting the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children on their way to realizing their full potential through various events, assistance programs, and celebrations.
